jeff, he was one of the best
he fell into the river two times
and climbed right out onto the crest
now struggling for breath
they saw that he was barely alive
and crawled right over to him

jeff was feeling kinda stressed
he probably was thinking about
regretting being sent out on a quest
specifically for jeff
he was a real dependable guy
of that we never had any doubt

and all his friends are dripping
drowning in sympathy
i know they all just want whats best for old jeffery
and i hope that someone somewhere is proud of me
because i'm trying to live my life just like jeffery

jeff’s situation had progressed
to the point there rang a shot from the side
and jeffrey felt lead lodge into his chest
and as you may have guessed
he really wasn’t pleased in the slightest
a most inconsolable jeff

jeff was now a total mess
while bleeding in the heat of the moment
he was scooped up by some infernal pest
and taken to it’s nest
wherein the nefarious brood would reside
who cut him open with intention to ingest
the morsels made of jeff
and now we reach the end of the story
since i heard it i've been completely obsessed
with memories of jeff
while at a preliminary time
he told us ‘over and out’
